Multi Method

As we have seen above, the gaps method always results in pictures with more than 1 motif. Is there another way? Well, you can always divide up a shape that is already tessellating into as many parts as you like. The difficulty is to make each part a related picture in its own right.

1. Take a shape. A hexagon with opposite sides equal will always tessellate even if one is dented inwards like this (concave)...
