3. Add another ring of the same width and insert more pictures. Because this time the size of the picture is not increasing proportionally, the angles of the ends of the pictures will need correcting and the pictures may need stretching or compressing slightly to fit. It won't be apparent! I got 8 into the second ring. (Note the original construction lines are now ignored)
